What is the difference between the ECO R1 and the ECO R3 models?
The ECO R1 and ECO R3 have identical performance, including the same motor, battery, and range capabilities. The only difference lies in the frame design: the ECO R1 has a high-step frame, while the ECO R3 features a step-through frame. The high-step frame offers a traditional look and sturdy build, ideal for taller riders. In contrast, the step-through frame of the ECO R3 allows easier access, making it more convenient for riders who prefer a more accessible design.
Is the ECO R3 fully assembled upon delivery?
The ECO R3 arrives partially assembled. You’ll need to install parts such as the front wheel, handlebars, seat, pedals, and mudguards. A detailed user manual is included, and you can also watch an assembly video for guidance.
Is it legal to ride the electric bicycle on public roads? Do I need a license plate or insurance?
ECORUSH e-bikes comply with EU standards, with a speed limit of 25 km/h. They are legal to ride on public roads, and in most cases, no registration or insurance is required. We recommend checking with your local authorities for specific regulations.
Can I ride in the rain?
The ECO R3 has an IP54 water resistance rating, making it suitable for riding in light rain. However, for safety reasons, we don’t recommend riding in heavy rain. Avoid submerging the e-bike in water, as water entry may damage electronic components. When passing through puddles, ensure the water level does not exceed the hub to prevent motor damage. Avoid using high-pressure water to wash the motor and dry the bike promptly after exposure to water.
Can I return or exchange my e-bike through ECORUSH?
